Mission statements are important things. Every business book tells you that if you are going to go into business for yourself, you have to have a Mission Statement...a reason for doing what you are doing.

Sarah believes that each person is unique and has a special voice and story to tell. Creativity is about using what is on hand to make your mark on the this world. We each get a mere moment to do something amazing, something incredible, something inspirational and something worthwhile.

Sarah is incredibly blessed to have family members who taught her to understand the importance of seeing people and their talents and individual voices as special. They taught her through their own example, to embrace the things people made with their hands and to appreciate their willingness to share those things with the rest of the world by investing in them and their careers. Sarah's world has always been surrounded by art and various sundries made by both master artisans as well as normal everyday folks. Her world has always been vibrant and filled with incredible stories.

Sarah created this Studio with the main purpose being, to introduce children who are at risk, either by virtue of their socio-economic predisposition or the fact that art has been cut from their school curriculum  to art and crafting in general. All people need a sanctuary (be it an actual place or a state of mind) where they can create and explore the artistic process and be inspired by the things others have made. There really is something magical about people coming together to make "stuff", whatever that "stuff" happens to be. Stamping Today Studio is a place where fantastic art is made and people are equipped and inspired to make their own.
